Climate course by Uab

The success of Universidade Aberta's (UAb) course on the life experiences of Climate Change probably illustrates at this moment the impact of OpenupEd best. Over 1.000 participants registered and many other are also following it. The course uses some of the excellent learning materials (OER) developed by the European funded project called LECH-e (The Lived Experience of Climate Change). The LECH-e project produced among others three linked modules and a water case study in a partnership with many EADTU members. But, a larger part of the success is due to the use of an innovative pedagogical model for massive open online courses massive (iMOOC) specially designed by UAb.
